Cecil Eugene Adcock, 51, a lifetime resident of the Berea Community passed away July 15, 2014 at Duke Regional Hospital after an extended illness.

A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Henry Adcock and worked at Athol Corp. in Butner for over twenty-five years.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Barry Chambers.

Surviving are his mother, Fannie Mae Humphries Adcock of the Senior Center in Henderson, a special person in his life, Joan Woodlief of the home, one brother, Melvin Adcock (Dot) of Rougemont, three sisters; Mildred Raynor of Rougemont, Merle Clayborne (Ray) of Henderson, Deborah Jackson (James) of Rougemont, step-daughter, Christy Honoker (Barry) of Henderson and a step-grandaugher, Kristen Honoker of Henderson.

Visitation will be held after the graveside service.
